The Coral announce 24-song double album 'Coral Island

Hoylake psychedelic indie noisemakers The Coral have announced details of their sprawling tenth studio album ‘Coral Island.’

The follow-up to 2018’s ‘Move Through the Dawn’, ‘Coral Island’ boasts 24 songs across two discs and it will be released on Friday 30th April 2021.

As a taster for the record, The Coral have premiered the visually striking video for lead single ‘Faceless Angel’, which is directed by Edwin Burdis who created Arctic Monkeys‘ ‘Four Stars Out Of Five’ video.

‘Coral Island’ is available to pre-order now via The Coral’s official website on double CD, limited edition, gatefold sleeve, heavyweight red double vinyl, heavyweight black vinyl, and double cassette.

Additionally, there’s also a special limited edition Dinked version of the album on clear vinyl, including an exclusive 7” purple vinyl EP ‘The Coral Island Picture House Disaster EP’, featuring 5 extra new tracks, housed in a numbered, gatefold sleeve, with a signed print.

Last May, The Coral surprise released a live album called ‘Live At Skeleton Coast’, which was recorded at Skeleton Coast Festival at Leasowe Castle on The Coral’s native Wirral on Saturday 1st September 2018.
