As part of Oasis’ 25th anniversary celebrations for ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’, a new lyric video for ‘Wonderwall’ B-side ‘Round Are Way’ has premiered online.

Originally released in October 1995, ‘Wonderwall’ was backed with three extra Oasis tracks that swiftly became fan favourites – ‘The Masterplan’, ‘The Swamp Song’ and ‘Round Are Way’.

Having previously unveiled an L. S. Lowry-esque animated promotional video for ‘The Masterplan’ to promote the ‘Stop the Clocks’ compilation album in 2006, Oasis have now unveiled a kaleidoscopic official lyric video for ‘Round Are Way’.

‘Round Are Way’ was played live 25 times by Oasis in the mid-nineties, making its debut at Blackpool Empress Ballroom in October 1995 and last performed London’s Royal Festival Hall in August 1996.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Big Brother Records will be releasing a special anniversary edition of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ on a variety of formats on Friday 2nd October 2020 – 25 years to the day since the album came out.

A few days later, Noel Gallagher wrote on the Oasis’ social channels: "So anyway. As you are probably are all aware, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? turns 25 this year.

"To celebrate, I will be doing a bit of filming to discuss the album and its lasting legacy.

"I am asking you to submit any questions you might have about the making of the record, the writing of the songs and the times in general.

"If you could film yourself asking the questions too that would be most excellent. ONWARDS. NG."

Unsurprisingly this prompted a backlash from Liam Gallagher who said he’s “not been asked” to be involved in the celebrations.

Calling his older sibling a ‘gobtit’, Liam tweeted: "It’s funny how the gobtit doesn’t wanna know bout the greatest band ever slags it of all year round as he’s moved on but soon as there’s a few quid to be made he’s all f---ing ears best thing since sautéed tofu.”

Commenting on the press activity he did for the Oasis Supersonic documentary, Liam added: “Me n bonehead sat on interviews for supersonic did press all good loved it not 1 f---ing penny did me and rasta B get from it arsed not in for the money but some s--- shoveler got paid so nxt time you cats wanna know anything bout the lads tweet me LG x”
